Everett Dale Bishop's Obituary
Everett Dale Bishop age 67 of Nashville, passed away December 15, 2012 at his home. He was born on April 1, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Donna Bishop; son, Everett Troy (Annette) Bishop of Hendersonville; grandchildren, Jake and Ella Bishop. Dale was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the Army Special Forces. He was a former elder of Madison Church of Christ. In 2000, he retired from Colonial Baking Co. after 31 years of service. Following this, he worked an additional 7 years for the State of Tennessee Department of Corrections retiring in 2008. Dale was a student of the Martial Arts, Wado-Ryu, achieving the rank of 5th degree black belt. He was active in Veteran’s groups and was a life member of Am Vets. Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 18th at 10:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Ruhl and Bro. Norman Slate officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Tony Trumphour, Taylor Trumphour, Jerry Dixon, Dustin Newman, Melvin Brown and Melvin Brown, III.
