Mrs. Fannie Boyd Reasonover's Obituary
Reasonover, Fannie Boyd, age 103, of Nashville passed away on January 29, 2014. Mrs. Reasonover was born on March 23, 1910 to the late Robert Benjamin Bumpus and Minnie Lou Byard. Mrs. Reasonover was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Nashville and will be remembered as an avid gourd grower who enjoyed flowers and being outdoors. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. “Pete” Reasonover; sister, Eva Mae Alley; brother, Felix Bumpus; and nephew, Robert Benjamin Alley. Mrs. Reasonover is survived by her niece, Mary (Milburn) Davis of Nashville; five great-nephews; one great-niece; and several cousins, including her caregiver, Martha Sue Cruise of Nashville; and Barney (Margaret) Byard of Clarksville. Special thanks to friends, Blenda Flatt and Joyce Alsobrooks for all of their love and kindness. Reverend Ken Coleman shall lead a Celebration of Life ceremony to honor Mrs. Reasonover on Saturday, February 2, 2014 at 1:00PM, from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment shall follow in historic Spring Hill Cemetery. The family shall receive visitors on Saturday, February 2, 2014, from 11:00AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, Nashville.
