Mr. Fausto A. Barranco's Obituary
Fausto A. Barranco, age 93, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 in Madison, Tennessee. He was born on October 18, 1924 in the Philipines to the late Gregorio and Benita Barranco.
He was a retired Marine Engineer. Known for his generosity, Fausto was always willing to lend a helping hand. He attributed his longevity to gardening and his special beverages. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing mah jong.
Fausto is survived by his wife of 64 years Celina (Morcilla) Barranco; two sons, Afredo Barranco & his wife Ruby and Edwin Barranco & his wife Kim; two daughters, Malou Sepe and Brenda Kane & her husband Pat; grandchildren, Dianne Hawkins & her husband Jason, Grace Abigaille Barranco, Imee Barranco, Matthew Barranco, Alex Drennan, Mark Lozada & his wife Maloo and Ian Lozada; great grandchildren, Leo “Guapo” Hawkins, Landon Hawkins, Channing Collazo, Chloe Collazo, Baylor Torres, Lorenzo Lozada, and Niccolo Lozada; a brother, Jesus Barranco; sisters, Estelita Evora and Angelina Barranco Lasaga.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 4-8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 1 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be his sons Alfredo Barranco and Edwin Barranco, his grandson Matthew Barranco, his grandson-in-law Jason Hawkins, son-in-law Pat Kane and lifelong friend Edsel Encena.
In lieu of flowers the Barranco family has asked for donations to be made in the memory of Fausto Barranco to St Joseph's Catholic Church 1225 Gallatin Road South, Madison, TN 37115.
