Ms. Faye Ruth Hardy's Obituary
Faye Ruth Hardy, age 80 of Madison Passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014. She was a 1952 graduate of East High School and received her Masters of Arts from Peabody College. She started her teaching career at Hillsboro High School then to McMurray High School in Oak Hill to Columbia St. Community College to Volunteer St. Community College from 1974 until her retirement in 1993. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward K. and Mamie Hale Hardy; sister, Barbara Ann Parsons; daughter, Laura Anderson and her son Eddie Anderson. She is survived by her grandchildren, Angel (Tyler) Hanner, Beth (Vincent) Russell, J. B. Wilson, III, Chris Anderson, Ashleigh Anderson; great grandchild, Kaiden Anderson; cousins, Eleanor Hardy Burrow and Marila Fuqua. Numerous other cousins also survive. Her family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29 and from 10 a.m. until her Celebration of Life Service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 30 at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Services will be conducted by Pastor Jack Galloway. Active pallbearers will include J. B. Wilson, III, Vincent Russell, Tyler Hanner, Collin Hanner, Bill Gleason and Bill Fuqua.
