Florence Keels' Obituary
Florence Keels, age 89, of Madison, Tennessee, passed away on January 28, 2026. She was born on January 9, 1937, in Kent, England, United Kingdom, to the late Tom and Jenny Short. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Bailey Keels (Bunky), he was a well-known session musician.
Florence is survived by her cherished children, Mike and Robert; her grandchild, Sarah; her sister, Edna; and her nieces, Penny and Angela.
Florence was one of four sisters and shared a deep and lasting bond with her family. She loved her children dearly, and they remained the center of her life. She brought joy to those around her through her warmth, her kindness, and her many talents. Florence was an exceptional cook, enjoyed peaceful walks in the park, and found fulfillment in painting and sewing. She was also a proud and dedicated employee of Wal‑Mart for 20 years.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at Hendersonville Pentecostal Church on February 23, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., with Bro. Kent Riddle officiating.
