Mr. Floyd C. Branch's Obituary
Mr. Floyd C. Branch, age 90, of Hendersonville passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015. He was born June 16, 1925 in Gainesboro, TN to the late Vanius and Emiline (Flatt) Branch. Floyd was an avid fisherman and hunter. He is remembered by his family as a man that liked to cook and had the most amazing vegetable gardens. Even after his body was touched by age, he could be found outside tilling his garden with his wife by his side. Floyd was a longtime member of Millersville Church of Christ.
Floyd is survived by his wife of 54 ½ years, Barbara Branch; brothers, Gene and James Branch; and his best friends, James and Gail McGuire.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2015 in the Serenity Mausoleum of Historic Spring Hill Cemetery with Elder Leroy Shumake officiating. Entombment will follow the service.
