Mr. Floyd Thurman Green's Obituary
Floyd Thurman Green, 80, of Nashville, Tennessee, died on Friday, March 10, 2023. Born January 1, 1943, in Springfield, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Clarence Edward Green and Edna Mae Proctor Green.
Thurman was a longtime supervisor with Kroger in Nashville and Jackson. When he was healthier he attended Full Gospel Church in Antioch. He enjoyed being outside whether he was fishing, shooting or working in the yard.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Betty Baker Green; siblings William Edward Sloan, Troy Green and Ophelia Spain.
He is survived by his sons David Malcolm (Donna) Green and Stephen Wayne Green; daughter Christy Hatchel; sister Victoria (Jerry) Breeden; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 17 from 12 pm until 2 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted at 2 pm. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery alongside his wife. Pallbearers will be Troy Breeden, Bryan Breeden, Raydean Spain, Ronnie Spain, Tommy Hudgens and Jason Braden.
