Mrs. Frances Louise Sweeney's Obituary
Mrs. Frances Louise Long Sweeney, age 63 of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022. She was born on May 31, 1959 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Robert and Annie Long. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by granddaughter Krista Owen, three sisters, three brothers, and brothers-in-law David Bean, Carl Cotton, and Roy C. Orman Sr. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Steve Sweeney Sr., daughter Kimberly Sweeney (Gary Owen), Stephen Sweeney II, and Shane Sweeney (Kirstie Hartwick), sisters Patsy Smith (Burton), Sissy Bean, and Deborah Chatlos (Robert), grandchildren Savian Jordan, Kayla Sweeney, Megan Owen, and two grandsons on the way. Frances is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Frances was a loving and selfless person who loved her family, and always put others first. She spent most of her life as a stay at home mother, caring for her husband, children, and grandchildren. She had a big heart and was simply an all around wonderful person. In her free time she enjoyed Bingo and playing mobile games on her tablet like Bubble Witch.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 12pm, with the family receiving visitors from 10am until the time of the service.
