Frances Ellen Vaughn, 85, of Madison, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020. Born February 6, 1935 in Gamaliel, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Edward Burnett and Oda Temple Burnett.
Frances was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an excellent cook who brought her family together around the dinner table. She had worked at Opryland as wardrobe manager, and later went to work for the Willie Nelson Record Store. Frances was a member of Neely’s Bend Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Bobby Burnett and brother-in-law Amos Davenport.
She is survived by five children Rickey Vaughn, Danny (Pamela) Vaughn, Charles (Charlotte) Vaughn, Joel Vaughn, and Donna Vaughn Mobley; sister Elnora Davenport; grandchildren April Frizzell, Donald Vaughn, Brandy Vaughn, Cara Yates, Tina Booth, Charles (Johanna) Vaughn, Jr, Carrie Vaughn, Tony Vaughn, Amanda Ragland, Morgan (Michael) Mobley Thornhill; great grandchildren Kyle Meadows, Bailey Vaughn, Jaxson Vaughn, Austin Vaughn, Jayden Vaughn, Bianca Vaughn, Brynlee Vaughn, Luke Vaughn, Amber Booth, Troy Booth, Ryan Vaughn, Peyton Vaughn, Jordan Vaughn, Hunter Ragland, Aidan, Cullen, and Nina Rose Thornhill, Oliver and Dexter Meadows.
The family would like to thank Charlie and Charlotte for taking care of her for the last 4 years.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 PM until 8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will take place on Thursday morning at 10 AM at the funeral home with the family receiving friends and visitors one hour prior to services. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville.
