Frank Doyle Bailey, 84, of Madison, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021. Born November 2, 1936 in Madison, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Frank Buford Bailey and Mattie Ethel Gray Bailey.
Frank was retired from the Hobart Corporation. Mr. Bailey was a very patriotic American and served his country proudly in the United States Air Force and was a member of American Legion Posts 82 & 88. He was a jokester with a very strong sense of humor that will be missed by those who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Debra Bailey Stewart; brothers Carl Bailey and Bill “Buddy” Bailey.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 27 years, Shirley Bailey; sons Monty Bailey and Derrick (Rachele) Bailey; stepchildren Michael (Amy) McCord, Jimmy (Karen) McCord, and Diane (Rock) Smith; grandchildren Amber Clouse, Ashley Singletary, Katie Wilson, Jason Hargrove, Alex McCord, Erin McCord, Jeremy McCord, and Brandi Clifton; great grandchildren Bailey, Kaylee, Natasha, Memphis, and Joey; 2 great great grandchildren; sister Joyce Huff.
Visitation will be Monday, March 22, 2021 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be Tuesday, March 23 at 11 AM officiated by Daniel Jenkins. Family will receive friends and visitors one hour prior to the funeral. Burial and graveside military honors will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
