Mr. Frank James Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. Frank James, Jr., 54, a resident of Dickson, TN, died Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Centennial Medical Center.
The Nashville native was the son of the late Frank, Sr. and Mary Pearl Johnson James. He was a car mechanic for Bill Trickett for many years and was a well-known landscaper in the Nashville area. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clarksville being a kind, gentle man showed his Christianity by giving of himself to others. He excelled in football at Madison High School. He loved the outdoors, was an animal lover, avid fisherman and loved anything about cars.
He is survived by two daughters, Mellissa (Bryan) Whiticker and Amber James; a son, Joshua (Stephanie) James; a sister, Jean (Terry) Price; five grandchildren, Damon James, Olivia James, Jonathan Stevens, Yasmin Whiticker, and Kameron Whiticker; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 11:00AM at Spring Hill Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends Monday, May 5, 2014 from 4:00 until 8:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements have been entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery.
