Mr. Franklin Delano Roosevelt Rainey's Obituary
Franklin Delano Roosevelt Rainey, age 81 of Nashville passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2014 He was retired from General Motors after 30 years service. He professed his love for Christ at an early age.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Harrison and Lela Rainey; sister, Carrie Rainey Kennamore; brothers, Phillip Rainey, W. D. Rainey and L. T. Rainey; niece, Tammy Rainey and nephew, Michael Rainey.
He is survived by his son, Sylvester Rainey; sister, Vernell Jetton; brother, Ellis Rainey; nieces, Rochelle Rainey and Jackie Rainey; nephews, Travis, Timothy, Jeffrey, Lawrence, Cyrus, Derandel,Trent, Donald, Kenneth and Gregory Rainey.
A Celebration of Mr. Rainey’s life will be conducted at a graveside service on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 11:30 A.M. from Spring Hill Cemetery.
