Fred was one of my dad's (Gene Kieffaber) best friends. My dad and mom (Jan) truly love Fred and Anna. I had the privilege of playing golf with Fred and Gene at Bluegrass and both men summarily destroyed me on the course.
I also had the opportunity for my wife Lori, and daughters Colleen and Caroline to swim at the Culbreath pool on the lake there in Hendersonville. The girls both remember "Mr. Fred" because he was so attentive and generous.
It was a pleasure to know Fred and I'm quite sure he and my father (Gene) are in heaven having a nice round of golf.
