Gary Lee Clouse's Obituary
We gather to celebrate the beautiful life of Gary Lee Clouse, a man who balanced sharp intellect with a deep love for fresh air and open trails. His years were filled with curiosity, purpose, and steady progress. Today we look back with gratitude for every moment he shared.
Gary found pure joy in geocaching and hiking the hills and forests of Tennessee. Outdoor activities were his favorite way to recharge, and each new path brought him a sense of freedom and discovery. Friends and family remember how quickly he would plan the next adventure.
Away from the woods, Gary’s mind thrived on computer programming. His Organized, Intelligent, and Hardworking nature helped him tackle complex problems and share clear solutions with anyone who asked. Many benefited from his patient explanations and quick insights.
Family always stood at the heart of his journey. Gary’s loving circle includes his mother, M. Jane Hittson Clouse; his wife, Munira Kuttab Clouse; his children, Christopher Clouse and Amanda Turner; his sister, Barbara Gail Clouse Gunter; his nephew, Travis Gunter; and his niece, Crystal Gunter Burns. He also holds in loving memory his father, J.C. Clouse, and his son, Nicolas Clouse. Each relationship added a unique chapter to his story.
From trail maps to well-commented code, Gary left everything a little clearer than he found it. His practical wisdom and steady encouragement continue to guide those who knew him best. Every thoughtful checklist and solved bug stands as a quiet reminder of his care.
As we move forward, we honor Gary by seeking new paths, sharing knowledge freely, and working with the same steady focus he showed every day. May each step we take outdoors, and every problem we solve indoors, keep his bright spirit close.
