Gary Lynn McDowell's Obituary
McDowell, Gary Lynn-Age 52 of Ashland City, TN. Went to walk with the Lord on August 22, 2011 after losing his battle with Lou Gehrig Disease/ALS. He is preceded in death by his father, Staley McDowell; baby sister, Donna Carney; and nephew, Samuel McCloud. He is survived by his mother, Rev. Barbara Gibson; three sisters, Jodie (Mike) McKnight, Doris McCloud, and Janet (Robert) Holloway. Gary was dearly loved by four nephews and three nieces and his best friend/dog, "Destiny". Pallbearers will be Shane Matthews, Allen Holloway, Luis Ortiz, Troy Bell, Jack Sylliaasen, and Mike McKnight. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Walker, Mike Haynie and Nick McCloud. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to defray funeral costs. Bro. Louis Harp to officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 23rd from 4-8PM. A funeral service will be held at 2PM, Wednesday, August 24th with visitation two hours prior at SPRING HILL FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY 5110 Gallatin Rd. 1-(615)-865-1101
