Mr. Gary W. Mangrum's Obituary
Mr. Gary W. Mangrum, age 67 of Madison, TN, passed away September 21, 2021. He was born in Nashville on August 28, 1954 to the late William “Bob” Houston and Mary Odessa Mangrum.
Mr. Mangrum proudly served his country in the United States Navy where he received the National Defense Service Medal. He was a master electrician and certified welder. He had an ear for music and was a guitar luthier. He loved being outdoors, boating, drag racing, and taking rides on his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Above all else, his family was the most important part of his life.
Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Saundra Kay South. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Terri Mangrum; daughter, Theresa Lee Dixon (Darrell Lee Dixon); son, Jake William Mangrum (Amy Mangrum); brother, Ronnie Clinton Mangrum; grandchildren, Katie Marie Dixon, Derek Lee Dixon, William Jake Mangrum, Austin Dale Mangrum, and Jay Dillon Mangrum; great-granddaughter, Sevynn M. A Graveside Service will be Wednesday, September 29, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at Nashville National Cemetery.
