Geneva Lorene Moore's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ms. Geneva Lorene Moore on July 25th, 2023, in Springfield, Tennessee.
Geneva was the daughter of Hershel Adams and Elizabeth Smith Adams, born on April 21st, 1956, in Nashville, Tennessee. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her effervescent and kind spirit were contagious, and her smile could light up any room that she walked into. She could turn anyone’s day around with her laugh. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time doing Word Searches and reading her Bible, often reciting the 23rd Psalm with her sister Lisa. She was a member of First Apostolic Church in Nashville, and her church family was incredibly dear to her heart. The Lord blessed her with the most gorgeous singing voice, which could be heard throughout Sunday services. She truly had a heart of gold, and her love and legacy will live on in the lives of those she leaves behind.
Geneva is preceded in death by her loving husband Ronald Stephen Moore; parents Hershel and Elizabeth; sister Wanda McWhorter; and brother Jerry Adams. She is survived by her son Brian Stephen Moore (Brook Hampton); grandchildren Kayden Moore and Carson Moore; sister Lisa Logan (Jack); nieces Beth Logan and Amber Vasquez; several nieces and nephews; her First Apostolic Church family; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
The family cordially invites guests and relatives to join them for a time of visitation on Friday, July 28th, 2023, from four o’clock in the evening until eight o’clock in the evening, and on Saturday, July 29th, 2023, from ten o’clock in the morning until twelve o’clock in the afternoon, with a chapel funeral service at twelve o'clock in the afternoon, and burial to follow at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216.
Arrangements for Ms. Moore are entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, "Where Nashville Comes to Remember."
