Mr. George D. Clayton's Obituary
George D. Clayton, age 78, of Nashville, TN passed away June 24, 2017 in Davidson County. He is preceded in death by his parents, George Ellis Clayton, Ruby Lee Burton Clayton; and brother, Jimmy Clayton.
He is survived by his caring life partner of 45 years, Gary Miller;brother, Gary Clayton; sister-in-law, Wanda Clayton and family; Cousin, Patsy Ludwig; nephews, Bo Clayton, Mathew Clayton, Jimmy Jett, Robby Jett, Johnathan Jett, Joey Miller, Jason Miller; great-nephews and nieces, Cameron, Cassidy, Anthony, Alona, Rachel Jett, Jennifer Slavo, Leanna Conrad; and special friends, Chip Flohe, Pat Anderton, John Bradford, Harry Harrington, Eugene Faulk, Charley Swann and miss Henry (favorite neighbor.)
George loved his work and the friendships he developed along the way. He was a kind, caring, and honest man, George was a wonderful and loving partner, brother, uncle, and friend. He adored his neighborhood cats he collected over the years, especially his cat, Poody Brown. George was a thoughtful man who touched the lives of everyone he met, he will truly be missed.
A special recognition and thanks to all those vendors and friendships George developed while working all those years.
A celebration of life memorial service will take place on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 1pm at Spring Hill Funeral home and Cemetery. A 1 hour visitation will take place on Saturday before the service in the Mausoleum.
