George W. Kornikoski's Obituary
George William Kornikoski, 67, of Clarksville passed away on Tuesday, May 27th, 2025. He was a long-time employee at TDOT. He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in Greenville, TN in 1975; George met the love of his life, Kay, in 1980 in Johnson City and they became devoted members at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Clarksville, TN.
George found joy in meeting new people, working on puzzles, attempting his hand at crocheting, playing video games with his grandchildren, and playing both the piano and guitar.
George was preceded in death by his parents, George A. Kornikoski and Emma Lee Lowe; two brothers, Luther Sherill and Ernest Sherill Jr.; stepdaughter, Kristie Rollins. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 44 years, Kay Kornikoski; his daughter, Michelle Star Jones (Thomas); two stepdaughters, Paula Brown and Sandra Brown; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; special loved ones, Cortez and Jashar, and Ernie Sherril, and his TDOT family.
