The Staff at Steak n Shake (Rivergate) will greatly miss our "Coffee George". We are all so very sad to loose this bigger than life itself friend. George brightened our day 2 or 3 times a day with his "coffee time".....we know there is a hole in his families hearts today that will never be filled because George was a "one of a kind"....he had a heart that was bigger than he was!!! Another member of our “School bus brigade” has left us, only 4 of us left, out of 10 who originally started our Tunica trip we would take every October since 1999, George was always a lot of fun, he kept us laughing with him or at him, for sure. You will certainly be missed George. Lots of good memories RIP..or prayers go out to Helen and your family.

George was always fun to be around. He loved to pick at my late wife Linda and she loved to go right back at him. They were fun to watch 😃. I'm sorry I didn't get to spend more time with him.

My fondest memory of George was right after I had my son and he came to the house to meet him. He stayed for quite awhile and even held Jesse. I did not see him for decades later but I was always told of how much family came to mean to him and what he did for his grand kids. I saw him at his son Patrick's big July 4th blowout a few years ago. He was such a happy man. Glad I saw this in him.
