George Ray Hall's Obituary
HALL, George R. of Hendersonville, age 86 passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2010. Beloved father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, George Hall, left this world to be with his late wife, Rosemary and daughter, Becky. He leaves behind his daughters, Mary Jo Furr and her husband Don, Judy Huth and her husband Erick, and Rachel Hall, and grandchildren, Jonathan, Nicholas, and Alexandra. Mr. Hall was an esteemed veteran of the WWII 551st AAA Battalion. Mr. Hall’s family would like to thank Bordeaux Long Term Care for their medical care and compassion. A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home 5110 Gallatin Rd., Nashville, TN with visitation from 12 noon until service time. Inurnment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Glenn H. Curtiss Museum, 8419 State Route 54, Hammondsport, NY 14840-9795.
