With profound sadness, we announce the passing of George Lewis Saunders, age 64, of Joelton, Tennessee, on July 3, 2026, following a courageous battle with cancer.
George's life was marked by perseverance and determination. Though his journey was not always easy, he demonstrated remarkable strength in overcoming addiction and continued to move forward with resilience and hope.
He is survived by his sisters, Laurie Jaroch and her husband, Allen Jaroch, of Joelton, Tennessee, nephew, Philip Jaroch; Aunt, Rebecca Stewart of Nashville TN, and cousin, Randy Stewart, and his wife Sonya, and their sons, Caleb and Evan of Mt Juliet, TN.
George's passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and devotion to his family. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
A graveside service will be held on July 13, 2026, at 2:45 p.m at Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
