George Terrance Shansey III's Obituary
SHANSEY III, George Terrance; Age 67 of Nashville, TN passed away August 28, 2011 at his home. He was born in Willmington, Deleware on February 27, 1944 to the late George Terrance Shansey Jr. and Dorothy Kathleen Lowe. George was a visual artist, whose strengths rested in painting, photography and graphic art. He will forever be remembered as a person who loved animals and with an optimistic spirit, wanted the world to be a better place. He was currently attending church at Providence Baptist Church in Coopertown, TN. He is survived by his children, Gina Licali of West Hills, CA and Zak Shansey of Philadelphia, PA; sister, Karan Michael of Arkansas; grandchildren, Aiden and Mason Shansey; Nashville family, Judy Cotton, Faye Laureano, Evie Laureano and Andrew Laureano. A memorial service is planned for Tuesday September 6, 2011 at 1PM at Providence Baptist Church with Pastor David Price officiating.
