Mrs. Georgia A. McQuiston's Obituary
Georgia A. McQuiston, 69, of Smyrna, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022. Born November 5, 1952, in Memphis, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Robert Edward Grooms and Betty Jean Whitlock Collins.
When she was a younger woman, Georgia worked in the local restaurant industry and hotel industry. She was a homebody that loved life and her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Michael Collins and William B. Collins, Jr.; sister-in-law Teresita Collins; nephew Jason Collins.
She is survived by her sister Charlotte Ann Collins; son Robert Hastings, Jr.; grandson Robert Hastings III; several great grandchildren; great nephew Koron Collins; aunt Alice Williams; several cousins including Angela Polk and her family; nieces Alicia Coffindaffer and her family and Catherine Bon and her family; close friend Gregory “Cream Puff” Primm.
