Mr. Gerald T. "Jerry" Westmoreland's Obituary
Gerald T. “Jerry” Westmoreland, age 79, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee. Jerry was born on November 5, 1939 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Carrie Virginia Westmoreland.
Jerry was a kind man who loved his wife, children and grandchildren dearly. He proudly served his country in the Air Force. He was a retired truck driver for Washington Industries. Jerry loved golfing, working and volunteering at Shelby Golf Course.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sylvia Westmoreland; a daughter Janet (Jeffrey) Westmoreland-Pruitt; a son Stephen (Carol) Westmoreland; a sister June (Bill) Lambert; grandchildren Brandon Westmoreland and Britni Westmoreland; and great-granddaughter Nyomi Anglin.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 30 from 10 AM to 8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216. A celebration of life funeral service will be held on Monday, December 31 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Herb Hardcastle officiating. Family will receive visitors from 9 AM till 10 AM on Monday. Entombment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville.
