Geraldine Pratt Brown, 81, of Madison, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 11, 2022. Born April 14, 1941, in Milan, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Martin Samuel Pratt and Lois Ruth Weems.
She was a proud mother and grandmother. Her family will remember her as an energetic spirit who enjoyed reading and shopping for her kids and grandkids. She will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Lynne Ellen Brown.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Melbourne Brown; daughter Vanessa (Ben) Rains; son David (Betsy) Brown; grandchildren Carly Martin, Jackson Martin, Griffin Brown, and Walker Brown; sisters Sammie Jean Coleman and Bobbie Sue Priddy.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 16, from 12 PM until 2 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2 PM. A private family committal ceremony will be held in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
