Geraldine Filbert's Obituary
Filbert, Geraldine P. Age 93, passed away on December 26, 2010. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Mae Pearson; sister, Betty Hinman; and brother, John Pearson. She is also preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Kenneth W. Filbert. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara K. Filbert and Gail F. Bermudez; and grandchildren, Julie and Kenny Bermudez. Mrs. Filbert grew up in Minneapolis, Minn., and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, in 1940. She will be remembered for her active service with the United Methodist Church; P.E.O., Philanthropic Educational Organization; and Hagley Museum, the original DuPont powder mills, estate and gardens in Wilmington, Dela. She resided with her husband in the Cumberland Cove Community and Cookeville. She spent her final years at Belvedere Commons Assisted Living, Hermitage, TN.
