Gibson C. Duncan Jr.'s Obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mr. Gibson C. Duncan Jr., 93, of Nashville.
Gibson was a 1950 graduate of Isaac Litton High School and a proud member of the Marching 100+ Band. He had a love for camping and served the Lord as Deacon at Inglewood Baptist Church. He worked for many years as a food broker for Allied Foods. He was a 70-year Mason at Ionic Lodge. He served as a Chapter Advisor of Neale M. Rutland DeMolay Chapter for over 30 years. He was Grand 1st Preceptor in 2019-2020 for DeMolay International. Mr. Duncan was a York Rite Mason, a Shriner at Al Menah Shrine, and Order of Eastern Star.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Jean Duncan; one daughter, Dinah Walton; and one son, Gibson C. Duncan III; Mother, Katherine Primrose Duncan; and father, Gibson C. Duncan Sr.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving daughter, Debra Duncan; sister, Gayle Doggett; nephew Jeff Coleman (Laura); and dear friend, John Whitaker (Claudia), along with many friends and Fraternal Brothers.
