RIP Gilda - to the family, we are so sorry for your loss. Gilda was a friend for over 25 years. I spent 10 years with here when we were in the Tennessee Wedding Specialist Association together. She was our anchor and always the voice for reason. During that time, we produced 3 major wedding shows and several Christmas parties. For the wedding shows, she produced the fashion show and I produced the production part. I was always on the intercom with her during the shows and the conversations were hilarious. Would have loved to have a tape of those. ---- After I left the group I would still go by to see her at her store from time to time and just hang out because she was so fun to be around and always made me laugh. I was fortunate that I talked to her about a week before she passed. I asked about a tux rental for my nephew wedding next year knowing she was not in the business anymore and was just looking for a referral. When I told her the wedding was in Georgia, she told me that the family would probably want to get the tux there and said, "but you will need a professional to measure you and I will come by and measure you and visit" -- that was my friend Gilda - always helping out --- I know that Gilda touched the lives of so many people, especially the Ambassadors and Social Graces groups she worked with. She is probably the most amazing person I have ever know. Hal Gibbs
