Ginger Lee Valenti's Obituary
Valenti, Ginger Lee; Passed away on July 17, 2012 after a courageous battle with ALS. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Angelo Valenti, her sons Dylan Burroughs, Matthew Valenti, and Joseph Valenti, her mother Bobbie Kennedy, her father Robert Lee, her sister Joni Mahan, and her grandchildren Olivia Valenti and Luke Valenti. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister who valued her family above all else. A Nashville native, Ginger earned a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Tennessee and a master’s degree in education from Tennessee State University. She taught special needs children and kindergarten in the Metro school system for many years. She was involved in civic and charitable activities, including Monroe-Harding Children’s Home, Belmont Mansion, and the Nashville Symphony Guild. Ginger had a unique ability to make people smile and she brightened any room she was in. She wasn’t the life of the party; she brought the party with her. She will be missed. A graveside service will be held on Friday July 20th at 10 AM with a family and friends gathering from 9-10 at the Spring Hill Cemetery Serenity Chapel Mausoleum, 5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216 (615)865-1101
