I have so many fond memories from my childhood of playing softball in your back yard and your big dog barking at us. Your sweet mom was always so patient and spoke softly in her 'southern belle' accent even though we sometimes lived at each other houses, running in and out of the door, through the house, and leaving things in the yard. I miss those simple times when life seemed slower. Your family will forever be part of our family. We love you all dearly. We will all miss your mom until one day we see her again, and what a reunion that will be! Love to you both and to your dear families.

Brenda and Susie, please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your momma. It doesn’t seem as many years as it has been since we played together in our backyard on Gaines Road. I remember your never aging momma with strawberry blonde hair and laughing eyes telling you it’s time to come home. My mother, Stella, will have such a sense of loss knowing she can no longer pick up the phone and chat with her wonderful friend Gladys. I have so many memories of Ms Gladys since october 2016 when i first became Her Caregiver ..She taught me abt Southern cooking cornbread etc n You never went home without eating cake or cookies or choclate candy . I grew to Love Her And Her family . As the times i spent W Her wete Priceless . I was blessed to Know Ms Gladys and Her Family .Shes now at Peace .❤️
