Glenda Faye McGowan's Obituary
McGOWAN, Glenda Faye; passed away April 14, 2012. She was born in Nashville, September 6, 1935 to the late Rudolph and Adelee Eckhardt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Thomas McGowan; daughter, Jennifer Neely; brothers, Douglas and David Eckhardt. She is survived by her daughter, Vickie (Don) Wilson; grandchildren, Amanda (Jeremy) Coones, Robert Wilson, William Wilson and Matthew Neely; great-granddaughter, Coraline Coones. Glenda was a member of Madison Church of Christ where she was a preschool teacher at Creator’s Kids Preschool. She retired after 25 years of service to the State of Tennessee. She loved gardening with flowers and sewing, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The funeral ceremony will be on Wednesday April, 18, 2012 at 1PM in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-8PM and on Wednesday from 11-1PM at Spring Hill.
