Glenda Pruitt Hunter's Obituary
Glenda Pruitt Hunter, of East Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022. Born in Old Hickory, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Robert Earl Pruitt and Mattie Viola Dunn Pruitt.
Glenda was a faithful Christian and a member of 11st Street Church of Christ as well as the East Nashville YMCA. Her family will remember her for her love of butterflies, fishing, painting and drawing. Glenda loved life and everyone in it.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Robert Dunn Pruitt; sister Peggy Joy Pruitt; nephew Bobby T. Bumbalough, Jr; brother-in-law Bobby T. Bumbalough, Sr; all of her aunts and uncles and some cousins.
She is survived by her son Kirk Daniel Hunter; sister Iris Bumbalough; nieces Barbara (Barry) Bumbalough-Morris and Betty J. Ware; great niece Katelyn Boyle; great nephew Paul Thomas Cupido; great great niece Savannah Cupido.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 4 pm until 8 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service with Brother Mike Tidwell officiating will be held on Thursday at 12 pm at the funeral home. Family will receive friends and visitors an hour prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
