Glenna "Kaye" Copeland's Obituary
Glenna “Kaye” Copeland, 69, of Nashville, Tennessee, sadly passed away on October 22, 2024, with her loving family by her side. She was born on June 7, 1955, in Nashville, Tennessee, to James Marshal Morris and Opal Ruth Denson.
Kaye was preceded in death by her mother, Opal Ruth Morris; and her nephew, Jimmy Moran.
Kaye is survived by her father, James Marshal Morris; children, Katie (Bobby) Sanford, Tom (Cindy) Whittemore, and Leslie Snowden; grandchildren, Kayla (Wesley) Fincher, Larissa (Chris) Korp, Tommy (Desirea) Bohrn, and Johnathon (Hallie) Sanford; siblings, Jackie (Lester) Long, Cathy (Ray) Church, and Stacey (Linda) Hunt; multiple great-grandchildren; a great-great-niece, Danielle Hartwick; and her partner in crime, Sandy Webb.
Kaye was a very outgoing person who never met a stranger. She was always willing to help everyone around her but could have a feisty side if she needed to. She was a local celebrity at Walmart, McDonald’s, and Sonic. She would find someone she knew and would talk for hours upon hours. She would always look forward to visiting the Mennonites with Katie every summer and getting some of their made vegetables and sour dough bread. She was a good caretaker to her mother. Kaye will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
