Mrs. Gloria "Mimi" Goodwin's Obituary
Gloria “Mimi” Goodwin, age 74, of Madison passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015. She was born September 22, 1940 in Nashville, TN to the late Virgiel and Mary Dailey. Earlier in life, Mimi worked at Baptist Hospital as a Medical Secretary. She taught Sunday school at Parkway Baptist Church and loved spending time with the youth teaching and mentoring. She was a member of Inglewood Baptist Church.
Mimi is survived by her husband, Grover C. Goodwin III; son, Josh Fisher; daughter, Kellie McCauley (Eric); grandson, Beau Smith; great-granddaughter, Carmen Smith; brother, Virgil Dailey; and step-children, Stephanie Temple, Christopher Goodwin and Jonathan Goodwin.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 4-8 p.m. and Monday from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A celebration of life cryptside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2015 in the Serenity Mausoleum of Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
