Mrs. Gloria Wileen Park Hale's Obituary
Nashville-Gloria Wileen Park Hale, 97, of Nashville, died at home on February 2, 2019.
Gloria was born November 28, 1921 in Nashville to Barney Park and Marguerite Roach Park. She graduated from East High School and married Granville Hale in 1940. She was known as a loving mother, grandmother, caregiver and especially for her positive outlook on life and bright smile.
Surviving are her sons Howard Lloyd Hale (Evelyn) and George Andrew Hale (Supak/Na), daughters Joellen Hale Murphree (Ken) and Carrol Elaine Hale Withrow; grandchildren Karen Hale Clark (Ed), Lauren Murphree Mihalcik (David) and Rachel Murphree Louque (Harry), Paul Withrow (Lacey), Christie Withrow Anderson (Chris), John David Withrow (Kelsey), Jennifer Withrow; great-grandchildren Blake Culbertson, Brooklyn Culbertson, Eve Mihalcik, Violet Mihalcik, Bradley Anderson.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Melba Park Alexander and Gwendolyn Park Randolph and grandchildren Cathy Lynn Hale (Chris Gutjahr) and John Owen Murphree.
A service to celebrate Gloria’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 5, at Spring Hill Funeral Home with family receiving friends and visitors an hour prior to the service. Visitation will be held Monday, February 4, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
