Mrs. Gloria Jean Smith's Obituary
Gloria Jean Cumberland Smith, age 92 went to meet her Lord and Savior in the early hours of the morning on Saturday, April 16th, 2022.
She was born in Memphis, Tennessee on January 28, 1930 to Clarence and Laura Cumberland. She moved to Nashville, Tennessee along with Philip, her husband, to be close to her children. Gloria loved the Lord. She attended Concord Road Church of Christ in Brentwood. Her church family loved and supported her to the end and was truly one of the greatest blessings in her life.
Gloria is survived by her son, Mike Smith (Nina), daughters, Jacqulyn Downey (Thomas) and Debra Woodlee. Three grandchildren, Heather Hamman (Chris), Ashley Wilson, and Nathan Woodlee. She was blessed also with many great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 21, from 9:30 am until 11 am. A graveside service will follow at 11 am in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
