Mrs. Grace P. Williams' Obituary
Grace Pewitt Williams of Harrison, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021. She was a life time resident of Tennessee. Born in Williamson County, she attended Litton High School, in Nashville. Grace received a BSN (RN) degree from Peabody College. She worked for V.A. Hospital in Nashville for several years. Grace was married for 71 years to Leon Williams and they resided in Chattanooga. She was active in the Hamilton County Republican Women and several Garden Clubs in Chattanooga.
Grace is preceded in death by her husband Leon Williams. She is survived by her son, David (Nancy) Williams, brothers, Leonard Pewitt of Leipers Fork, Joseph Pewitt of Mt. Juliet, sisters Eileen Nichols of Antioch, Doris Thompson of Davidson County and many nieces and nephews
A graveside service will be held at Sping Hill Cemetery, Nashville, TN on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 1 PM. Friends and visitors are requested to meet in the cemetery prior to the service. Arrangements by Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, a Nashville landmark since 1785 "Where Nashville Comes to Remember"
