Greg "Skip" Kirscht's Obituary
. Greg “Skip” Kirscht passed away in Brentwood, Tennessee on March 7, 2017 at the age of 63.
Greg is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Bernice Kirscht.
Greg is survived by his loving wife of 38 years. They were married in Virginia Beach in March 1979.
Greg is lovingly remembered by his wife, Glenna of Brentwood, his three sons and their spouses, David Kirscht of Lewisburg, William Kirscht of Minneapolis, and Jacob Kirscht of Hermitage, his four grandchildren, Victoria, Gregory John, Josiah and Miles, his brothers Duane Kirscht of Colorado, and Dwight Kirscht of Arizona, and his sister Mary Kirscht-Johansen of Washington.
Greg was born in Litchfield, Minnesota in 1953. He graduated from Appleton High School in 1971 and went on to Hennepin County Vocational School to study carpentry. He was a carpenter for 43 years. Greg was a Petty Officer in the United States Navy working as an Interior Communications Electrician from 1974 to 1978.
Greg enjoyed fishing, hiking through the woods with his grandchildren, music, telling bad jokes, and making everyone laugh.
