G. Wesley Myatt, Jr.'s Obituary
MYATT, Jr., G. Wesley age 71, of Brentwood, passed away August 24, 2009 after an extended illness. Preceded in death by his parents, George and Mildred Myatt. Survived by his wife of 48 years, Faye Swindle Myatt and daughter, Trish Myatt of Brentwood; son Trey and wife Jamie Myatt and grandchildren, Rachel and Owen Myatt of Franklin; sisters, Emma Jean(Joe) Moore, of Ocala, FL and Debbie (Gary) Miller of Old Hickory, TN. Mr. Myatt was a graduate of East High School and Peabody College. He was a Certified Public Accountant and partner in Bumpus, Hall, Myatt, Thomason & Emery, P.C. He was a long time Brentwood resident and very active in the community, serving on the Williamson County School Board and Brentwood Planning Commission. He was a past member of the Lions Club, Brentwood Dolphin Club and Brentwood Country Club. A former member of Edgefield Baptist Church and previously served as a deacon, treasurer and RA counselor at Brentwood Baptist Church. He was highly regarded in his profession, community and a loving family member. He will be remembered for his outgoing personality, his wit and caring heart. Celebration of Life Services will be Thursday, August 27, 2009, at 12 Noon from the chapel of the Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in historic Spring Hill Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers of Lakeshore The Meadows for their professionalism, loving care and support of our dear husband and father.
