Harold Lunn Fesmire's Obituary
Harold Lunn Fesmire, age 82 of Whites Creek, TN entered into rest on February 17, 2012. Mr. Fesmire entered into life March 1, 1929. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thompsie and Pauline Fesmire and first wife, Ruth J. Fesmire. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Helton Fesmire; daughters, Sharon F. (Ricky) Goff and Makayla Fesmire; brothers, Bobby (Evelyn) and Tommy Fesmire, sister, Joyce (Bob) Leach; stepchildren, Mark Helton and Ceile Garrison; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Fesmire served in the U.S. Navy. He moved to Ft. Walton Beach, FL in the mid 1950’s, owned a franchise for A & W Root Beer and operated two restaurants. He also served on the Board of Directors for First National Bank and Faulkner University in Montgomery, AL. Harold and his wife, Ruth moved to Linden, TN in 1976 to build and operate the Circle C Youth Ranch. Their passion in life was to help confused and troubled youth. Through this ranch they were able to give hundreds of children an opportunity for a successful life. Harold and his wife, Ruth, sold Circle C in 1992 and moved to Nashville to work with Inner City Ministries. Through Inner City Ministries he developed ministries in Mobile, AL, Montgomery, AL, Orlando, FL and Pensacola, FL. While developing these ministries, he also counseled young people helping to develop healthy life skills. He also served as Elder at Inner City Church of Christ. A celebration of Mr. Fesmire’s life will be conducted at 4:00 P.M., Sunday, February 19, 2012 from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 3:30 P.M. on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Graveside services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to Nashville Inner City Ministries.
