Mr. Harold Eugene Morgan's Obituary
Harold Eugene Morgan, age 87, of Nashville, TN passed away on October 2, 2017 in Davidson County. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde A. Morgan, Mary Eura Miller Morgan; loving wife, Reba Tice Morgan; brothers, Adrian Morgan, Alvin Morgan, Emery Morgan, Charles Morgan; and sisters, Hester Morgan McMahon, Ethel Morgan Bradford, Mildred Morgan Ledbetter.
He is survived by sister, Edna (Kenneth) Netherton; niece, Donna Netherton Wright; numerous other nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and nephews; and good friends, Mary Cobb, Rosemary Cobb, Gene and Margaret Brewington, Freddy Holcombe, and Chuck Campbell.
Harold enjoyed music and playing his Steel guitar. He became a pilot at an early age and later worked for Metro Health Department’s printing Department. Harold was an avid fisherman and had a undeniable love for all things fishing. He was recognized and had several awards for his fishing. Harold was chosen among the top 10 Fishing Crappie Guides in the U.S. by the national In Fisherman Magazine. He was featured as a fisherman expert in the book, Crappie, by one of America’s favorite fisherman, Bill Dance. Harold was also recognized on national and local levels as an expert fisherman and guide. He was invited by many to lecture at seminars about fishing. Harold was a man of many talents and will be missed by so many.
Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 4-8pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A celebration of life funeral ceremony will take place on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 11am with a 2hr visitation prior. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
