Mr. Harrison Jerry Wilson's Obituary
Mr. Harrison Jerry Wilson, 77, a resident of Nashville, died Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Skyline Madison Campus.
The Nashville, Tennessee native was the son of the late Harrison F. and Bonnie Rittenberry Wilson. He was the former owner and operator of Jerry Wilson Roofing and Sheet Metal Company and was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, watching westerns, the outdoors and was a Tennessee Titans fan. Mr. Wilson loved spending quality time with his family in whatever activity was going on.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carole Kinzer Wilson; two daughters, Lisa (Patrick) Smith and Tammie Knox; three sons, Jerry Ray (Gayle) Wilson, David (Carolyn) Wilson and Steven (Cindy) Wilson; two sisters, Norma Jean Dowell and Bonnie (Raymond) Elliott; twelve grandchildren, Tanisha Wilson, Blake (Rebecca) Wilson, Ray (Lori) Wilson, Lizz (Josh) Paille, Trey Overbey, Lacey Wilson, Michael (Kristyn) Wilson, Drew Wilson, Brittany Wilson, Nick Wilson, Gerry Knox and Carole Knox; nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by daughter, Kathy Wilson and granddaughter, Mackenzie Smith.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Ceremony will be conducted Monday, September 29, 2014 at 11:00AM at Spring Hill Funeral Home with Terrance Hailey officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday, September 28, 2014 from 12noon until 6:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. The family wishes to express their thanks to the nurses and staff of Alive Hospice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, Nashville, 615-865-1101.
