Ms. Henrietta Davidson's Obituary
Henrietta Davidson, age 95, passed away on August 19, 2019. She was born January 7, 1924 in Nashville, TN. Henrietta was born and raised in Nashville where she lived all of her life. She married Burney Roy Davidson, he preceded her in death.
She was known to be a very hard worker and a tough woman. Henrietta enjoyed playing softball in her younger years, she was nicknamed “Little Babe Ruth” by her fellow teammates. She loved to read and listen to music in her down time, she especially enjoyed listening to Vince Gill. Henrietta was also an excellent cook, her specialty was tomato gravy which was a big hit with her family. What was most important to Henrietta was spending time with her family, she cherished the moments spent with her children and grandchildren.
Henrietta is survived by her daughters Burma Moreland of La Vergne, TN, Gayle Allen of Lewisburg, TN. Henrietta is also survived by her son Burney Ray Davidson of Nashville, TN. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sons Terry and Donnie Davidson Sr. and her grandson Mark Moreland.
Visitation will be from 11 A.M. to 8 P.M. Friday and Saturday from 12 PM-1 PM with the funeral service immediately following at the Spring Hill Funeral Home 5110 Gallatin Road. Nashville, TN 37216.
