Mr. Henry Davis' Obituary
Henry Clifford Davis, age 91 of Smyrna, TN passed away October 22, 2013. Mr. Davis was born in Lawrence County, TN on April 10, 1922 to James Larry and Willie Patterson Davis. He was a member of Christiana Church of Christ. He enjoyed the outdoors, whether hunting or fishing and also loved horses. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 57 years, Myrtle Davis; son, Henry D. Davis; daughter, Margie Knight; five brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his sons, Jerry L. (Jean) Davis, James L. Davis, Danny L. (Kelly) Davis; brother, Tressie Davis; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Mr. Davis’ life will be conducted at 11 AM, Friday, October 25, 2013 from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with J.R. Pugh officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 PM until 8 PM on Thursday, October 24 at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
