Henry Grady Ezell's Obituary
Henry Grady Ezell, Jr., age 90, of Nashville, TN. Passed away on June 11, 2012. He was a 66 year member of Inglewood Baptist Church, where he was a Dudley Miller Sunday School Class teacher. He was a WWII veteran in the US Army. Mr. Ezell was a graduate of Cornersville High School, and also spent 22 years in the Boy Scouts of America, where he was an Assistant Explorer Advisor and Long Rifle award winner. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry, Sr. and Charlie Will Ezell, and Brother Lt. Col. Andrew G. Ezell. He is survived by loving wife of 67 years Mary Ezell, brother, William "Bill" Brown Ezell (Ann), sister, Lou Swain (Richard), sister-in-law, Michiko Ezell, and many nieces and nephews. Active pall bearers will be Howard and Ken Ezell, Matthew Lewis, Rodney Jessup, Tommy Ford , and L.J. Ledbedder. Honorary pall bearers will be the Dudley Miller Sunday school class, Bill Crater, and the staff at Baptist Cardio-Pulmonary Rehab. A visitation will be conducted on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 from 4-8 at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A visitation one hour prior to the service will begin on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 1pm with a Funeral ceremony following at 2pm in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home, with Rev. Dr. Kevin Shrum officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Inglewood Baptist Church, American Bible Society, and Monroe Carell, Jr. Childrens Hospital at Vanderbilt.
