Mr. Henry F. Hollis' Obituary
Passed away peacefully late Sunday night April, 22, 2018. He was born November 1, 1923 in Franklin, Tennessee and was pre-deceased by wife Dorothy Green Hollis and son William Henry Hollis of Nashville. He is survived by daughter Georgia Faye Freels, and son-in-law Brian Freels,
Grandchildren Bobby Ray Anderson (Trish), Euneese Yvonne Anderson, (Carrie) Alison Gail Frazier, (Scott) Dana Jane Cuje, Amy Louise Melvin (Willie). Also survived by great grandchildren, James S. Frazier, Chrystie Sharp, Preston Melvin, Sophia Melvin and Jennifer Neal, great- great grandchildren and many friends and fellow musicians.
He is a decorated World War II Veteran and served with the United States Army United Forces during the Liberation of France.
Visitation will be held at Spring Hill Cemetery, Gallatin Road, Tuesday, April 24th from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held at Trinity Free Will Baptist Church, Lowes Lane, Wednesday, April 25th at 12:00 to 1:30. Pastor Vernon Martin and Elder Earl Langley will be officiating. Graveside services will be held at Spring Hill Cemetery immediately following the services at the church.
