Mr. Herman R Parker's Obituary
Herman R Parker, age 80, of Nashville, passed away at his residence on Friday, October 13, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer Calvin, paternial mother, Bea Parker, and his mom, Mary Margaret; one brother, Joe Parker. He is survived by his wife, Mary Parker; three brothers, Paul, Jimmy, Jackie Parker; five sisters, Velma Slayton, Nettie Irene Bratton, Kathy Nash, Ethel Lackey, Marie Vanhooser; three grandchildren, Shelia Dodrill(James), Emily Hughes (Michael), Amanda Lanham(Vincent); five great-grandchildren, Felicia Cox, Mistie Hughes, Brandi Lanham, Joey Lanhanm, Peyton Lanham; and four great-great grandchildren. Herman loved to watch western movies and enjoyed mowing grass, including the neighbors yard’s too. He was a quite person but out going as well once he got to know someone. He was always full of interesting story’s. Herman was a great person overall and will be missed by all those who knew him. Visitation for Herman will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 9 am until 12 pm at which time a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted from the Chapel at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
