Mr. Hubert W. Tayes' Obituary
Hubert W. Tayes, age 84, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hyder and Mirtie Tayes; four sisters, Louella Ford, Edna Simcox, Paulene Scott, Betty Taylor; one brother, John Lee Tayes. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patsy; one sister, Christine Lowhorn; one brother, Riley R. Tayes Sr. (Barbara). Hubert enjoyed gardening, fishing, and deer hunting. He also enjoyed working on cars and detailing them to make them look good. He was a devoted family man and cared for those around him. He will be missed by all those who knew him and loved. Him. Visitation for Hubert will be held on Monday, September 14, 2020, at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110, Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, 37216 from Noon until 2 PM at which time a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted from the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, a Nashville landmark since 1785”Where Nashville Comes to Remember”
