Ida Pauline Ferrell's Obituary
Ida Pauline Ferrell, 94, of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. Born October 22, 1927 in Waverly, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Edd & Ida Sherrod.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, William "Bill" Ferrell; sister, Nell Petty; brothers, Wolfield, David, Barthel, and Sidney Sherrod; niece, Shelia Ragan, loving and devoted companion, James Cato.
She is survived by sister, Opal Mai Harper; niece, nephew, caregivers, Faye & Fate Evans; niece, Dianne Smith and several great nieces and nephews; co-worker, long-time friend and travel buddy, Doris Nash.
Special heartfelt thanks to the loving and caring staff of Capstone Assisted Living at Station Camp, Gallatin, Tennessee for the excellent care and love given her. Also, to Alive Hospice tending in her last days.
She was a life-long member of the Church of Christ, most recently the Neely’s Bend Congregation.
Visitation at Spring Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville TN 37216 on Friday, August 5, 2022; 4 – 8 PM. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service with Bro. Mike Tidwell officiating will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 2 PM. The family will receive friends and visitors one hour prior to the funeral. Interment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Crockett Parks, Charlie Parks, Mike Mooneyhan, Henry Brendle, Rodney Martin, and Woody Harris.
